Wanted in Latvia: post what you’re looking for and let sellers come to you. From a specific phone model to a child’s bike or a parking space, a Wanted listing tells people exactly what you need.
Not everything is for sale at the moment you need it. Here buyers post requests — “Looking for a set of winter tyres”, “Wanted: sofa bed”, “Need a used bike for a 10-year-old” — and people who have such things reply in the chat.
Each request belongs to a category, so sellers can use the “Category” filter to browse requests in their field: a collector checking for coin requests, a parent clearing out the kids room, a shop looking for customers. Requests can be posted by private buyers and businesses alike, and posting is free.
It works for almost anything you’d find elsewhere on Nordo — electronics, furniture, kids things, cars and spare parts, even a room or a parking space to rent. The same rules apply as for other listings: nothing prohibited by law, no one else’s contact details, one item per request.
Be specific: the item, the brand or model if it matters, size, the condition you’ll accept, your budget and how you’d like to receive it. A request like “Laptop, at least 16 GB RAM, no older than three years” gets better replies than “Looking for a laptop”. Add a photo of a similar item if it helps.
Set your city so local sellers can find you, and mention whether you’re ready to collect or prefer parcel locker or post. A request stays active for 60 days, and you’ll get a reminder to extend it if you’re still searching. Meanwhile, save a search in the matching section: you’ll get a notification on the site and in the app about every new listing that fits.
Browsing Wanted is a quick way to find a buyer who already knows what they want. Filter by “Category”, reply in the chat with a short description, a few photos and your price. If the item is already listed, send the buyer a link to your listing so they see everything in one place.
Be honest about the condition — the buyer has described what they need, and a mismatch only wastes everyone’s time. If you agree on a deal, reserve the item for them and, once it’s handed over, both of you confirm the deal in the chat to unlock reviews.
The usual rules apply. Keep the conversation in the Nordo chat, meet in a public place in daylight, check the item before paying and pay the seller directly. Never pay in advance to someone you don’t know, and ignore anyone who answers a request with a payment link or a request to pay for “delivery”. If a reply looks like a scam, use “Report”.
Create a listing in the Wanted section, choose the category and describe exactly what you’re looking for: model, size, condition, budget and how you’d like to receive it. A photo of a similar item helps. Sellers reply in the built-in chat.
Private sellers and businesses browse requests in their categories and reply if they have something that fits. They write to you in the chat with photos and a price, and you decide whether to meet or have the item sent by parcel locker, courier or post.
Like any listing, 60 days. Before it expires, you’ll get a reminder and can extend it with one tap. If you’ve already found what you needed, simply don’t extend it — and let the sellers who wrote to you know.
It’s as safe as any deal where you follow the basic rules: talk in the Nordo chat, meet in daylight in a public place, check the item before paying and never send money in advance to strangers. A reply with a payment link is almost always a scam — report it.
Be specific: name the brand or model, the size and condition you’ll accept, your budget and your city. Mention whether you can collect or prefer parcel locker or post. The clearer the request, the fewer irrelevant replies you’ll get.
